Hyperiums Protectorate The Hyperiums Protectorate offers the protection of the Hyperiums Empire, which means that Hyperiums armies will be teleported to your planet as soon as it is attacked. Important: beware to keep at least one army on your planet, so that it can not be taken before Hyperiums armies are teleported. In compensation of this protection, Protectorates: - are not allowed to build war ships (except during the leaving countdown... see below), - are not allowed to sell their exploitations, - are not allowed to chose their counter-infiltration strategy: a high accuracy level is enforced, at your expense, - suffer higher costs in general, compared to the other government systems, - are not allowed to infiltrate other planets above 60%. Leaving the Protectorate status The protectorate status never expires, except if you leave it by yourself, which can be done at any time. Beware that leaving the Protectorate status is irreversible. Instead of leaving immediately, you can choose to leave the Protectorate status after a non-cancellable countdown of 42 days. During this countdown, you are allowed to build war ships while still benefiting from the Hyperiums protection. Whenever your planet effectively leaves the Protectorate status, there is a delay of 15 days before it is allowed to use the Black hole, Hypergate and Energy Blast technologies. Democratic system The Democratic government system offers the most secure trading place, because it is not allowed to preempt the exploitations owned by other players, and it has the highest tax change delay, which ensures income stability to foreign investors. Additional advantages are: - faster civilization growth, - faster population growth, - better resources usage. Authoritarian system The authoritarian system is a mix of the democratic and dictatorial systems. Compared to the democratic one: - its WT rate change delay is lower (two days instead of three), - it generates armies 50% faster, - its civilization level increases slower, - exploitation build and upkeep costs are lower, - infiltrations and counter-infiltrations are cheaper. Dictatorial system The dictatorial system is an "aggressive" system, on both the trading and military aspects. A dictatorial planet can be an interesting trading place, because 1- exploitation build and upkeep costs are much lower, 2- it can much faster modify its WT rate. The counterpart for those wanting to buy exploitations on dictatorial planets is that their investments are at risk, since they can be preempted by the planet owner at any time. On the military side, compared to democratic planets, dictatorial planets: - generate armies two times faster, - build ships and factories 20% faster. The other characteristics are: - the slowest civilization level growth, - possibility to purify the planet from enemy infiltrations, - reduced exploitation costs, - possibility of using the Black Hole technology, - much cheaper infiltration and counter-infiltration costs. | ||
